Straight out of Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina, Matton Bain is bright & full of talent beyond his years.

Aside from the accolades in competitive surfing he's already attained at a young age, Matton's days of competition are just getting started so be on the lookout to see his name around much more.

Even when the waves are just barely breaking, Matton's the forever-grom out there on his epoxy Lost Surfboard... still grinding, but when the waves finally do go flat you'd probably catch him fishing off the dock or ripping the skatepark.

"My biggest hope is to be able to give myself to opportunity to compete on the highest level of surfing and be able to battle for a world title and my dream is to win a world title."

Favorite VEIA gear?

"I really like the JJF round tail pad because of the high arch and it fits my foot really good. It’s also the stickiest pad I’ve ever had and it won’t fall off my board."

What does being a VEIA ambassador mean to you?

"It means a lot being able to represent the best of the best gear alongside some really amazing team riders."
