At a US Open of Snowboarding event years back in Vermont, the Wu Tang Clan was hired to perform and rumor has it, were paid by Burton Snowboards to make an announcement about how good their boards look. Instead Wu Tang CLan member Ghost Killah, knowing nothing about snowboards or Burton, confidently announced “That’s a Big Nice Burgundy Snowboard!”. Fans, spectators and listeners were either confused, hysterical or both for a shout out to a snowboard that didn’t exist…yet.
Soon after the performance, Capita Snowboards & the Bomb Hole released an incredible collaboration called… you guessed it: The Big Nice Burgundy Snowboard.
