John John Florence Wins El Salvador & Clinches A Spot in the WSL Final 5

A few days of perfect, warm, El Salvador-ian right handers already leave us spectators in awe, drooling over the vacation we 'need', but what doesn't make it any easier is watching John John Florence take his Pyzel Surfboard through the water like a hot knife through butter, showing us how well he knows both the classic fundamentals of power surfing while taking to the air and plainly putting on a show.

Starting in Round 1 until the Final Heat with Brazilian Yago Dora (who was putting on a incredible display of performance surfing himself) John was on point, riding out of the majority of maneuvers he went for not only with speed and precision, but riding out of them clean & with momentum to push his rails in the next section.

This consistent display of performance surfing earned John a 10 point ride in the Semi-Finals, a Win in the contest, a spot in the WSL's Final 5, and keeps him well in the lead heading to Rio in the yellow jersey.

To say we enjoyed watching John's surfing this contest is an understatement and we can't wait to see what he has in store for the rest of the year.

Let's go!
