After 3 days of pumping (and a few not so pumping) waves on Oahu's North Shore, John John Florence was crowned your 2023 Pipe Master.
Surfing 4 heats, 3 with his brothers Ivan and Nathan Florence, John put on an incredible performance, showing his pipe mastery in pretty much all the conditions possible. Backdoor shootouts, grabbing rail backside at Pipe, power turns, and even some airs got John through each round placing 1st in the leaderboard after round 3 and then coming in clutch, powering through some tricky onshore conditions in the final.
John was wearing his signature JJF Pro Leash in Night and his JJF Round Tail Pro Pad in Night/Red in the finals, but you also probably caught him on another board rocking his new Night/Blue option!
Aside from John, VEIA team riders Ivan Florence placed 14th with a 44.40 and Eli Olson placed 21st with a 39.30.
