Joao Chianca suffered a horrible accident and head injury after a heavy wipeout this past winter on Oahu's North Shore. The accident happened at Pipe and Joao was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
Thanks to the North Shore Lifeguards, fellow surfers who helped him to the beach, doctors & nurses at the local hospital, and the strong fighting will Joao has he was able to recover and since then has been working hard to get back to full health.
